Stannis' forces quickly overwhelmed the weary North with the Sacking of Winterfell and capture of the Twins. The King in the North, Robb, was in the south seeking to fortify the Neck and the Twins. So much so that the city was renamed Red Harbor.

But fall it did and the waters were made red with the blood of Manderly's. Stannis found White Harbor a difficult city to breach. Karhold fell quickly and the armies split to strike Last Hearth and the Dreadfort. White Harbor and Karhold were the first to be hit. The deaths of Tywin and Kevan allowed lesser Lannister's to make peace with King Stannis and divert their forces to oust the Ironborn while the King sailed his fleets and royal armies north. The last kings left in the realm were Robb Stark, King in the North, and Balon Greyjoy who enjoyed several victories over the thinly-stretched Lannister army. The Lannisters caught the last of the Tyrells and defeated them. The greatest indignity was when Alekyne Florent, Lord of Oldtown and husband to Shireen Baratheon, captured Highgarden. The mighty Tyrell knights were caught between the Lannisters, Stormlands, and Crownlands.

Renly the Usurper was defeated in a series of clashes in the Kings woods. House Tully was destroyed by the Lannisters at Riverrun. The bastards of incest, Joffrey and Tomnen were slain in the first year of the conflict. Stannis Baratheon, King of Westeros and Protector of the Realm, has won the War of the Five Kings. It is the first month of 319 After Conquest.
