The "Properties" command button will enable click it. In the list box titled "This connection uses the following items:", scroll down to "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" and select it. This should bring you to a dialog box named Properties". Select the wireless connection, right-click "Properties", and provide an admin password (if necessary). This should bring you to the "Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network Connections >" page. On the left side of that page, click the link "Change adapter settings". The first step is to get to the "Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center" page.
Once the setting have been changed, select OK twice and reboot the printer.The trick is to change the network card priority so that the wireless connection remains active when a wired connection is made. The mode should be static and the IP address listed needs to be different than what they have configured for Ethernet. Scroll down to TCP/IP Settings and select the IPv4 address. Select Wi-Fi from the list of available connections. Once the setting have been changed, select OK and reboot the printer. Note: Depending on when the device was manufactured, the default password may be the device serial number or 1111.

Bring up the printer's webpage by typing in the IP address into the address bar of a web browser. To make changes to either of these two connections do the following: The customer is responsible for providing the correct network information for the printer. If both connections are active, they cannot have the same IP address, if they do, the printer will display one of these two codes.
